Meet Malcolm Ritchie

Malcolm Ritchie has spent his life serving others. With a background in the railroad industry and the U.S. Army, he has worked alongside everyday Americans who know the struggle of making ends meet. He understands the working class because he has lived it.
His years in both careers shaped his strong belief in fairness, discipline, and responsibility. Those values guide his campaign and his vision for Ohio’s future.

Deep Ohio Roots

Born in Canton, Ohio, Malcolm spent his childhood in Newark before returning to Canton for high school. He attended college in Kent, Ohio, and has maintained residency in Tuscarawas County, OH, for over 32 years.
His life story is closely tied to the communities of Ohio’s 6th District. He understands both the challenges and the opportunities that define the region. His roots give him a clear view of what families, workers, and small communities truly need.

A Clear Vision for the Future

Malcolm’s commitment to the Constitutional rule of law stands at the center of his campaign. He believes democracy must be protected and strengthened for future generations.
He supports free healthcare for all U.S. citizens because access to care should not depend on income. He also believes the nation must transition from a military-industrial complex economy to a domestic infrastructure-rebuilding economy. Rebuilding roads, bridges, railways, and public systems will create jobs, strengthen communities, and secure a stronger future for the United States.

Leadership Built on Transparency and Accountability

Malcolm’s campaign for the U.S. Congress is centered on transparency, accountability, and inclusive representation. He believes leaders must listen carefully to constituents, build consensus, and craft policies that reflect the diverse voices of the community.
His goal is to represent every resident of Ohio’s 6th District with honesty and respect.

Service Beyond the Campaign

Service does not stop with a campaign. Malcolm volunteers as a Disaster Relief Coordinator with the American Red Cross, helping communities during times of crisis.
Outside of public service, he enjoys traveling with his wife, riding his motorcycle, and spending time with his three grandchildren. Family, faith in community, and hands-on service continue to shape his leadership style.
